My name is Adeola Bakare, I was born in Akure, Nigeria. I live in Washington State, and am currently studying Nursing at Edmonds Community College. I am caring, intelligent, outgoing, enthusiastic and ambitious. I enjoy meeting new people and finding ways to help them. My hobbies are dancing, listening to music, playing cards and board games with my friends. Music allows me to de-stress and gives me peace of mind. During the past two years I have volunteered at the YMCA helping to fold clothes and doing the laundry. In the future I would love to volunteer at the Swedish Hospital to get more experience in helping patients and attending to their individual needs. I am proud to say that I am one of the finalists of the Miss Africa Washington State pageant in 2016 representing such a large country. My platform is High Pressure Awareness Campaign. I am doing this platform because it is common in my country. My goal is to build a clinic back home in Ondo State Nigeria, to help educate Man and Woman to prevent high blood pressure and how to live a better and healthier life. Thank you.
