“A pleasant day to you all! I am very pleased to announce that, I as Miss Africa Washington State have joined forces with Tariro House of Hope (THH) to help provide underwear and sanitary products for young girls. THH is a center in Epworth, Harare, Zimbabwe that takes care of orphans and vulnerable children. It helps pay for tuition, provide uniforms and basic necessities for these children. I have learnt that some young girls who have now matured into womanhood let basic necessities that every woman needs, that is, panties and pads. Knowing the life cycle of a woman, you would know that when girls reach adolescence they begin their menstrual cycle, which is beautiful thing. Now, imagine being a young girl going through your periods with one panty or for some, none. I personally cannot imagine that. Hence, I have taken this opportunity carry out an Undergarment and Toiletry Drive to help these young ladies. Toiletries with an emphasis on pads and or tampons get involved and change alive please reach out to either or the contacts on the flyer. Together we can!
